Attention Models: 

Please avoid being cut y making sure you register. Registration plays for the tour and supports our mission. It also helps the designers and production team know you are committed, and it is safe to style your outfit. You are paid in an even-kind trade with the STRUT photos you take on the runway. You may purchase your pre-show photos from that showcase photographer. STRUT does not interfere with the photographer's pre-shoot sales or edits. Please speak to them directly. They are different for each show. However, you may purchase your video footage from each show for $50 per showcase and at least one of your best photos will be included in your catwalk video reel. So look directly into that video camera for extra dynamics!  before every showcase. You may purchase a compcard consisting of your fashion show photos from the end of the season. You may include your personal photos if they are professionally shot and are available in high resolution.

From the time you post your family-friendly submission to the day of the last showcase, you are expected to hold your standards in high regard. This is a family-friendly event with many entertaining local ministers, church and corporate CEOs, and potential affiliates. Please respect yourself and others by speaking and behaving with love and reverence to this show. You never know what someone else's cause is, how important this shows meaning and opportunity, and how it could affect them. Be prepared to be an emotional and professional shoulder within your new STRUT Family. This is a place where many make friends for life.

 

A Typical STRUT Showcase has all models walking once in specific makeup and hair tailored to their scene’s particular portion of the show’s storyline to not distract and interfere with the show's aesthetic. Only a selected few will be permitted to quick-change. Each showcase shifts to work with the number of registered models, and most likely one of the newer city showcases may allow you to quick-change. STRUT Fashion Play includes 7 to 13 models per scene. There are usually 9 scenes with a grand finale whole cast entrance with everyone looking like a unit wearing all black with their STRUT T-shirts that should be purchased from the website store: https://www.strutforyourcause.com/store

At the end of the showcase during the grand finale, the highest-ticket supporter will be crowned Mr. or Miss STRUT for their City. 

 

The show is broken down into scenes that make up the play's storyline with dancing, modeling, acting, and Fashion to simulate the storyline. These scenes May be titled under Runway Model Only, Dancer Only, Dancer Style Mix, Solo Dancer, Dancer Duet, Runway Model, and Dancer to help you know where you should be and not be practicing.

 

Attention Dancers:

Dancers do not need to register unless they want to run for the SRUT Crown or desire to support. There will be about four different dance companies/groups performing. Some will claim a song for their group to perform. But for the sake of not all dancers possibly not being able to attend all 3 showcases or being cut, there will be songs where two or more different types of dance companies/groups perform simultaneously to the same song, sometimes to the same choreography and others we can have separate styles on the same song. This is not likely; however, production reserves the right to ensure safe spacing by reducing dancers. There may be songs where the entire company/group may not perform on a song but may learn as a backup for a missing dancer. There may be at least one or two scenes with a dancer mix and model scene. This means it will include models on the runway while the different dance groups perform simultaneously in their own style to the same, for example, the finale impossible. The opening of the show will have this style.

A one-hour STRUT Q&A Panel begins at 6:00pm and ends at 6:50pm. The STRUT Crown holder opens the panel with the cause, why, and experience.

STRUT 2024 Fashion Play begins at 7:00pm and ends at 8:30pm. The Play list is 37 minutes long. Add 30 minutes of MC between each scene.

 

Crown Holder shares their cause with the audience and teaches them the STRUT Chant. If they have invited a company to speak, they will have 5 - 8 minutes.
