AND THE REASON STRUT IS HERE
ARE You Ready To STRUT!?
Greetings from Selah Productions, Inc. The time is approaching for STRUT 2017. STRUT is our annual Fashion Play and workshop.
Since 2010 STRUT has been a Tulsa Public Schools affiliate Internship Program and each year we take dozens of TPS students into the world of event planning, Fashion, Dance, and Theatre.
The STRUT Internship Program teaches Cause Awareness, Business sales, Community Service, several categories of Performing Fine Arts: Dance, Acting, Fashion Design, Stage Tech, as well as providing mentorship and counsel over the course of the workshop. The STRUT Fashion Play is their culminating performance and will be hosted in March, 2017 in Dallas, TX and Tulsa, OK. Doors open at 6:30pm. Show begins at 7:00pm. Mood and attire is Glamour Upscale Fashion.

WHY DOES STRUT AFFILIATE WITH HIGH SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES?
"Its simple, every professional involved in this Selah Producuction was once inspired when they were young! We create an inspirational and an educational invironment that pairs professionals with amateurs and journeymen so that the new learns from the experienced and the experienced stay invigorated! We believe we have a duty to reach out to our youth, expose them to healthy new experiences, and encourage them to indulge their creative instincts.
STRUT not only brings awareness to our annual cause, it provides impact on a multitude of lives. Each year we create a new family of over 50 people who were once strangers. THE
STRUT is the precurser to the eventual Performing Fine Arts and Industry college - The House of Selah. So we have geared our internship program to that goal.
During the STRUT Internship program and workshop, students learn new skills, gain confidence, and build a long lasting family bond that crosses over into their entire life and has proved to increase academic performance and leadership.
STRUT Internship program is not only a performance iternship, it is community service. Students dedicate a week of their time to bringing awareness to that year's cause and community outreach.
Students who participate in STRUT can gain individual extra credit and actual school credit with proper permission.

The House of Selah is the main vision. The House Of Selah will be Oklahomas Perfoming Fine Arts and Industry college that merges Creative arts, Peformaning arts, and Industry Agency with Stem Education. WHAT MAKES
STRUT is a Fashion Play Internship and Mentor Workshop! Its is not your average Fashion Show by any stretch of the imagination!
Selah Produces STRUT as an educational tool to give students in school school credit, and dancer's, models, and designers personal one -on -one training in Catwalk and production that is free of cost and priceless to their careers.
What can you expect at STRUT?

Amazing storytelling and dramatic performances from models, dancers, and actors

Eye catching garments and styling from some of your favorite designers and cosmetic artists - as well as a few new hot up-and-comer's.
The STRUT Cast Members are the one's putting on the show!!
Talent learns every step of the production from the choosing of the date and the choice of venue down to the song selection, and stage tech!
Here's the Layout!!
Every November to December are online castings!
Designer's in the Group submit and once they are approved, they begin the race to claim up to ten models each from the photo submissions that that years model's, hair, and makeup post before the deadline is over!
After the Deadline is up, Producer Tiara S. Crawford, is the only person that can add models to the group, and those models go into the "Stand By" List for the cut portion of the internship!
Talent are cut if they don't purchase their STRUT T-Shirt that they must wear to all fittings and quick change into at the end of the show.
There is only one meeting per month up to the day of the show. Amateurs are welcome to participate because Selah Model and Company, LLC is one of the primary sponsors of all Selah Productions, and commits to hosting absolutely free training ($350.00 per class value) as long as talent is wearing their STRUT T-shirt and have completed their ticket sell minimum!
Buying your STRUT T-shirt Shows you're behind the cause and allows your name to be hosted on your designer's website page for the entire year! Win a professional sees STRUT on your resume, or Talent is a STRUT T-Shirt, they recognize that talent has been professionally trained!
The winner of the most Ambitious Talent Award receives the title of Mr or Miss STRUT that year and earns:
